Nashua man dies while vacationing in Jamaica | New Hampshire - The Union Leader

NASHUA — A Gate City resident and father of three died in a tragic accident while vacationing this week in Jamaica.Christopher Leite, 33, was one of two pedestrians hit and killed Monday night near Sandy Bay in Barbican, Hanover, according to Jamaican news reports.Police said that shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, Leite and another man, Damion Jones, 34, had exited a minibus and were standing on the side of the roadway when the driver of a white Isuzu motor truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the minibus, which ultimately struck the two men, according to the Jamaica Observer.They both died of head and body injuries.Now, Leite’s family is on a mission to have his body returned to America.“We have to get Chris home to the United States, and it is going to be very expensive.
