Farnum of Fredericksburg, and Melinda H. Castle of Spotsylvania. She is survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; brother Campbell Edenton (Rosamond) of Spotsylvania; and a sister, Shelby Edenton Hill of Spotsylvania.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest Earl Hall; her parents, Lee W. and Elmira Slachter Edenton; and her siblings, Hiram Edenton, Lee W. Edenton, Jr., Rosalie Dunivan, Hazel (Becky) Martin, William Edenton, and Raymond Edenton.The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at the funeral home. He lived in Charlton and Brantley counties for the last few years.“Jay,” as he was affectionately known, was a 1976 graduate of Blackshear High School and worked in construction as a self-employed carpenter, a job for which he had been very talented.He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle, play his bass guitar and watch the Georgia Bulldogs. Jay was a carefree man who loved to cut the fool and have fun with his friends and family. Most recently, hem worked in the transportation industry with stops at US Xpress and Lipsey Logistics, among others. At the time of his death, he was working with his brother at EverClear Pool and Backyards.His family said, "Adam had an infectious smile and a jovial demeanor that was accentuated by his trademark laughter. He was a constant student of life and always strived to answer some of the world's most baffling mysteries. Adam Levi centered his life on his friends and family, and truly never met a stranger. Most recently his daughter, Olivia, had become the pinnacle of Adam's world."The victim was found dead at his home after Donaldson called 911 to report the shooting.Donaldson was asked by the dispatcher if his son-in-law was still alive. He said, "I doubt it."The victim was found lying dead in the kitchen floor from a gunshot to the head.The incident happened around 9 p.m. at the 3900 block of Niles Terrace.A police report says Levi was going through a divorce with Donaldson's daughter.Don...
