Monday, March 06, 2017George and Elizabeth Gordon of Montrose, S.D.; her husband, Parker; her brother and his wife, Joseph and Ida Gordon of Southern, Calif.: her brother and his wife, James and Edrie Gordon of Kennewick, Wash.; her sister and husband, Genevieve and Harvey Dresch of Sioux Falls, S.D.: her sister and husband, Mary and Lionel McGrail of Simi Valley, Calif.: and her brother and his wife, George and Eileen Gordon of Butte.Jeannie is survived by her sister, Eleanor and husband Frank Coleman of Mobile, Alabama; her son Terry and his wife Mary Davis of Everett, Wash.; her granddaughter, Aubrey Davis and her partner Craig Carney of Seattle, Wash.; and her grandson Parker Davis and his partner Amy Floistad of Lake Stevens, Wash.Services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, beginning with a memorial at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Monday, December 19, 2016I was shocked to open the obituaries section of last Sunday’s newspaper and find a photo of a human skull (“Kennewick Man burial OK’d”).Really? My dearest Dad passed away just a while back and if this photo had shown up next to his obituary, I would have been livid.What a careless, thoughtless photo to place in the middle of the obituaries. Please don’t allow this to happen again.
