She married Gerald Chapman on November 10, 1940; he preceded her in death on July 8, 1988.Ruby is survived by her children, Richard (Ellen) Chapman of Siesta Key, Florida and Janet (Rod) Prosser of Olney; grandchildren, Curtis (Christy) Chapman, Christopher (Robin) Chapman, Janilyn (Rodney) Travis, Philip (Amanda) Johnson, Erin (Joe) Andre, Alan (Beth) Prosser and Lisa Tomblinson; great-grandchildren, Connor and Chase Travis, Ashley (Clayton) Wilson, Preston and Payton Smith, Pete and Will Andre, Jaycee Johnson, Mariah Williams, Addison Prosser, Makenzi Tomblinson; great, great-grandchildren, Emma and Haley Wilson & Payton and Mason Williams.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gary and 3 brothers Claude, Raymond and Clyde Cox and a sister Beulah Inboden.

Linda is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Mick (Lee) Mickelson and wife Thayla of Prosser, Wash., Jerre Mickelson of Post Falls, Idaho and Kenny Mickelson of Borrego Springs, Calif., Karen Mickelson Kacalek (husband Pat) of Post Falls, Kathy Mickelson Lindsey of Coeur d’Alene and sister-in-law Delores Helgeson of Spokane Valley, Wash. as well as many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother. Linda is going to be missed by so many. Please, my love, rest in Peace. There will be an open house held at their home at 912 Shasta in Post Falls on Saturday, Aug. 27 from noon-8 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Linda’s name to Hospice House of North Idaho (9920 Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho). Our many thanks to the fantastic people at the Cancer Center of Post Falls and the wonderful staff at the Hospice House of North Idaho. Oh, how Linda adored those grandchildren.
