He was the loving husband of Julia Ann Knestout Peters.Born November 1, 1950, in Hyattsville, Md., he was a son of Betty Louise Hartley and the late Sumner Eugene Peters.Bruce is also survived by his children, Cheryl Pron, Pamela Lightner and husband, Billy, Travis William Peters and wife, Faith; grandchildren, Cole Mattox, Emma Lightner, William Lightner, Chloe Bella Peters; sister, Janis Leachman and husband, George; brother, Larry Peters and wife, Nancy; and other family and friends.Bruce was a United States Air Force Veteran of Vietnam; he retired from the Secret Service, where he served at the White House.
